The United States inauguration day is no doubt being the most searched news these days! What will become of the new president – Donald Trump? His actions will not only make America great again, but also have tremendous impact worldwide! While we are waiting for the event to commence, let’s enjoy today’s sketch, the U.S Capitol building where the inauguration speech is going to be held! ^o^

I had so much fun drawing this building! It was challenging but awesome nevertheless. The ratio of the building’s parts are one of the best things I learnt from sketching today!

The United States Capitol, often called the Capitol Building or Capitol Hill, is the home of the United States Congress, and the seat of the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. It sits atop Capitol Hill at the eastern end of the National Mall in Washington, D.C. Though not at the geographic center of the Federal District, the Capitol forms the origin point for the District’s street-numbering system and the District’s four quadrants.
